Let's see what Andy ate for Thanksgiving

Alternative Thanksgiving is a holiday invented by my husband, Aengus. He's a chef, so he doesn't always have Thanksgiving day off of work. Thus, we celebrate -- with as many friends, family members, neighbors and total strangers -- on the Sunday before Thanksgiving every year. You know, just in case.
Needless to say, Andy likes this tradition.
Here are some photos he sent me.

We'll start with the bratwurst. Andy is of solid, cornfed Wisconsin German stock. And he has self-respect. So he eats brats.

Once, I was at a party he hosted in Wisconsin. I was talking to a pretty young lady, about 19. She was very inspiring, to me, as the mother of a little girl, as she had absolutely no self-esteem problems. She said to me, as she ate a brat and drank a beer and looked pretty, "I feel sorry for those uptight East Coast girls who don't drink beer and eat brats."
